Some people have a knack for taking irregularity and making it beautiful; Yasha Butler is definitely one of them. Do you remember that scene from Ghost where Patrick Swayze and Demi Moore have a little “accident” while making pottery? Yasha’s work is kind of like that, except much classier. She first crudely shapes them by hand on the wheel while still wet, and then carves them right before they turn bone dry.

Note that Yasha’s currently in Istanbul so her shop is empty (aww!), but I’m definitely going to keep an eye on her work!
