Via Decor8: I love Abby Glassenberg’s dolls; they are made from a mix of new and vintage fabrics, and have a style that is reminiscent of a doll our grandmothers might make for us. Slightly frayed edges and the use of muslin and linen add to the effect of traveling back through time when everything was handmade.

These owls are a bit more modern in style but the wallpaper-like fabrics and earth-toned colors really give them a down-to-earth feel. The owls, by the way, will be featured along with their patterns in the book Softies, which will come out this Fall.
