two piglets letterpress cards

Two Piglets makes greeting cards that are all green–don’t worry, I’m not talking about the color, although green is a lovely one! This small image house, located in Monrovia, CA, makes beautiful letterpress cards with an eye towards environmental preservation. It seems everything they use is eco-friendly, from the cards (recycled bristol paper) to the inks (made from soy) to the presses (cleaned with good ol’ vegetable oil).

Of course, you can be all green and no fun–thankfully, Two Piglets has both in spades. It definitely shows in their cards, which have a simple, tongue-in-cheek style; personally, I’d probably be doing far more collecting than greeting with these. Heck, anyone who names their letterpresses Mr. Booberton and Hilda are automatically awesome in my book!

For more information (and more cards; they have a zillion), be sure to stop by their store at TwoPiglets.com. And if you order and get your cards in a box labeled “Chinese Onion Flavor Beef Bowl”, don’t be surprised–yes, they even recycle discarded shipping boxes!
