Special guest post – Lynne from Skulduggery Dug

Hello, I’m Lynne AKA Captain Skulduggery Dug of the Pirate Pixie Crew and I am passionate about handmade goods! I love the individuality of the goods and the obvious love and attention to detail that are put into each persons work. Handmade goods fill me with joy, mass produced items just leave me cold. So I was very happy when I was invited to share some of my handmade choices with you.

Handmade is great. Handmade from recycled materials is fantastic. This gorgeous shopping bag from Catfluff floats my boat. It’s beautiful, unique, useful and recycled!

Ouissi of British Cream Tea makes so many cute items; I found it hard to pick just one to share with you. Her items are completely hand sew which makes them all the more special.

This cushion from Lily-Loo makes me smile. The sunshine yellow just zings out and the pretty little smiley Lilly-Loo face is charming.

This silver marigold pendant from Tarnish is so simple but oh so stylish. You could wear it when all dressed up or for everyday. It’s a very versatile piece.

Natalie Richardson appealed to my love of strawberries and my admiration of people with embroidery skills with this picture. I can imagine this brightening up a plain wall in a breakfast room. Mmmm yummy strawberries!

I hope you have enjoyed my selection!

Thanks Lynne – I’ve certainly enjoyed the selection. Some good picks here. You can see more of Lynne’s picks over on her blog Autonomous Artisans and her work over at Skullduggery Dug.
