puzzle balls by donna pool

Ever since I was a child I always loved building and then disassembling things; wooden blocks, lincoln logs and legos were my best friends. These puzzle balls by Donna are for a slightly younger crowd but stimulate many of the same spatial reasoning skills. In more casual terms, you can take them apart and put them back together, making them great learning and discovery toys for your little ones.

Each ball is securely hand-stitched meaning they can’t be broken by the roving hands of babies and toddlers. Best yet, once they get dirty they can be tossed into the washing machine and made fresh and clean all over again! The colors of course are delightful, and their unique appeal makes them excellent (and thoughtful) baby gifts. For more information, visit Donna Pool’s shop here!

You said “for a younger crowd.” I’m an old geezer who would like some made of some of my daughter’s dresses I have in my trunk! These aren’t just puzzles; they’re pure nostalgia.

The smallest ones make great Christmas tree ornaments! They really enhance the old-fashioned, country Christmas theme on my tree.
