nectar jewelry design
I wouldn’t normally think that industrial and organic are two styles that work very well together, but that was before I saw Nectar’s distinct metal jewelry. Metal is, of course, a very industrial material in every sense of the word; but what Nectar has done is allow its rough hewn characteristics to shine through in a way that is, for lack of a better word, organic.

The thing is, it works for me — the metal is gritty and somewhat tarnished, and then shaped into rounded, but not quite perfectly circular pieces for an artistic avant-garde look. I also love their dozens of circular cutouts, which are often clustered randomly in a way that reminds me of stars in the night sky. Entirely self-taught, Nectar Jewelry Design’s owner uses sterling and/or fine silver and can even do custom & special orders.
