Mosaic Monday – brooches
This week I am focusing my posts on Folksy as they have recently launched international sales so everyone can now buy goodies from UK based crafters. They will be launching the second phase of international selling soon by opening up the site to non UK based sellers so keep an eye out for that if you sell your work.
This beautiful daisy button has been turned into a brooch by Mrs Button so you can show off your love of buttons by wearing one on your coat or top. Check out the shop for more button related goodies.
Concept Design Form has used contrastin floral material to make this layered brooch. I like the addition of the chocolate brown button.
I love this eclectic kiltpin brooch from Jinksano that has been made with jigsaw pieces and wire. You would stand out with this brooch!
This hand felted rose petal brooch would look great for a wedding or other formal occasion. Get it from Zoe Tibbets.
This brooch is made lovingly using a mixture of cotton, lace, flock printed silk paper and ribbon embellished with silver beads and vintage buttons. It looks very romantic to me and you can get it from Jasmine and Corduroy.
Sandrute makes beautiful felt flower brooches and today I decided to feature this one with a muted colour palette.
Eeeeek – it’s the cute handpainted clay bird on this brooch that appealed to me at first but then I looked further and really like the wool too. You can get it from Sarah Von Kim.
Polka has some beautiful and colourful items in her Folksy shop but this butterfly brooch really caught my eye.
