madame fortuna jewelry
One thing I like about repurposed work is the sheer quantity of materials from which to draw upon; Madame Fortuna is clearly one who has a knack for drawing upon such sources! Although I first classified her work as Victorian vintage, I quickly began to see influences from various other time periods; the piece above is a mix of ornate, southwestern, industrial and even mardi gras mixed in!

What I love most about Madame Fortuna’s jewelry is its inherently rich history; from a plate engraved with the initials “C.E.A.” to a watch forever frozen at 7:40, you can’t help but wonder what about the story behind each component. If you like jewelry with a personality, Madame Fortuna’s shop is absolutely worth a visit!

I make charm jewelry on occasion, and I have to say that these pieces are love! Especially the one with the colorful vial pendant.
