lizard press letterpress stationery

I can’t help but be tickled pink (and blue) by the fun that Lizard Press is obviously having with letterpress. Above are absolutely gorgeous reprints of William Morris’ wallpaper designs, printed onto a set of 8 gift cards for less than $6. I also “love” their LOVE note, which is printed with vintage wooden type on off-white Johannot mouldmade cotton paper; the typography and the deckled edges give this note a sensual, handmade feel that is hard to resist!

My favorites are their “Notes to Grow On” cards, which feature a packet of seeds in a letterpressed card; the illustrations are actually from a 15th century book. As with all of Lizard Press’ cards, their “Grow On” cards have an unforgettably tactile feel and literally pop-out at you. And yes, I’ve added yet another William Morris card above; I just can’t get over how gorgeous they look! If you love letterpress as much as I do, you *must* stop by Lizard Press!
