The owner of Kaleel Designs mentions in her profile that she has always had a love affair with wool felt. I also have always had a “soft” spot in my heart for this material, especially in the form of bags. There’s just something about their simplicity that illustrates that less can really be more, and Kaleel Designs executes this with aplomb.

However, don’t mistake simplicity for lack of creativity: from large totes to pillows, there’s a nice variety of designs. Her woven tote is made from 3″ interlaced strips, while her super cute Paper Cabin handbag actually features a house made from bits of white cardstock! There are quite a few other wool felt items in her shop, so I’m looking forward to see what Kaleel Designs comes up with next!
