I can’t help but fall in love with In My Backyard’s brooches and pins every time I see them! Made idyllically in a lovely old cottage in New Zealand, each features birds and plants handpainted onto cream fabric, which is then sewn onto a felt and fleece backing. I really like the way the edges of the fabric are deliberately left frayed; it’s wonderfully handmade, yet obviously of high quality too.
