It was my elder daughters Sports Day today (hence the late posts!) but as she is only 5 they play games more than actual sports! Here are some great games/toys I have found that would work well at a Sports Day.

I really don’t like balloons (something my Nana said to me when I was little) and I flinch every time my children have one near them. No need to worry with this clever ball from SDK Designs that has the balloon inside it – genius!

There were the inevitable bean bags games today but the bean bags used at school were boring in colour – not like these fabulous fishy ones from Mum 2 Abby.

The ring toss isn’t a new game but this one is clever as the base pulls apart and acts as a storage compartment for the post and rings – no more hunting round the shed to see if you can find all the bits! Get it from McCoy Toys.

My girls would love these silk streamers from Beneath The Rowan Tree. An ideal way to get your kids active and moving – they won’t work if they stay still!
