aussiepatches cloth dolls

AussiePatches was recently featured in Etsy for her cute and demure artwork; she’s now turned her creativity towards screenprinting this same art onto lovely cloth dolls! Each design is printed onto calico and then stuffed with polyester wadding. You can use them as mini-cushions, pincushions, or ornaments–my vote goes for hanging them on a wall.

crazyquilter’s asian-themed bags

I’ve never been a big fan of quilts but I totally love these shoulder bags by crazyquilter! Fully lined with magnetic snap closure, the asian-inspired quilts on the flap are beautiful, both in color and choice of pattern.

toys at lula sapphire

Available at Lula Sapphire: alright, so I’m a little too old for these toys but they’re so cute! The vegetable teething box comes with four veggies which are made from 100% organic cotton, while this bowling game features bean-filled pins and a soft bowling ball that jingles.

boogeyman dolls

Don’t let the name scare you: covered with vintage fabrics, Madame Trapo’s Boogeyman dolls are quite cuddly! Her monsters are made from a combination of fabric, flannel, felt, cotton and buttons; although made in Brazil, they can be shipped just about anywhere.

switch rings

Via Wists: Switch Rings are two-piece rings with a detachable insert that allows you to “switch” out graphics in your rings on the fly. The only thing I don’t like is that patterns are randomly assigned on certain orders; they are otherwise very cute and trendy!

sleeping onigiri

I’ve heard of small apartments but this is ridiculous–but oh-so-adorable! Sleeping Onigiri, named after a Japanese rice treat, has apparently made herself at home in a matchbox, complete with mattress, pillow, neck bolster, doraemon-like alarm clock, and my favorite: a itty bitty teddy bear.

kleinreid blossom vases

It’s hard to believe that something so simple can be so attractive: these elegant vases by New York-based KleinReid feature cute little flowery bisque accents. Entirely handmade, the pieces are quite expensive–but it doesn’t stop me from wanting to take one home!

bird nerd’s collages

If you’re a bird lover like me, you’re going to love these beautiful collages by the Bird Nerd. Each piece is as much about the beautifully drawn bird as it is about the surrounding foliage; leaves and flowers are richly textured and varied, often with vintage patterns. I just love how the artwork bursts with [...]

mur mur vases

Like picture frames for flowers, these Mur Mur vases are wonderful for highlighting small flowers and plants with its chic, minimalist look. Made in France from porcelain or slate, the actual vase is tucked away in the back and consists of tubular flower holders to help you arrange each plant. Smart!

petplants

PetPlants are apparently all the rage in the UK and I can see why–each transparent capsule contains a tiny plant potted in peat moss; just dip them in water every 2-3 weeks and give them a bit of sunlight and they’ll grow reliably. Note that PetPlants can and do outgrow their capsule; just transplant them [...]
