yummy pillow cakes

Carrot, lemon and cherries all have two things in common: cakes, and thanks to 19 y/o Nessa, pillows. Each of these generously stuffed pillows features lace frosting and toppings made from felt. They really are almost good enough to eat (especially the cherry-topped whipped cream!)–those of us with sugar cravings may want to look elsewhere!

softbowls

These Wobowl SoftBowls at Branch are made from molded wool and use less than 10% of the energy to make a comparable ceramic bowl. Perfect for storage, each SoftBowl is made by local craftspeople in Philadelphia and also comes in Beehive Swoop versions.

pego twill wallets

These lovely handmade twill wallets by Pego feature a delightful cotton floral trim; Pego has been sewing since she was a little girl and the quality really shows! Each has multiple slots and compartments for cards and cash and features a magnetic snap button closure.

lola goldstein ceramics

I love visiting MoMA Store periodically and found these Salt & Pepper Shakers by Lola Goldstein. I especially love the way the pour holes resemble smiley and sad faces! Also available is an apple-shaped bowl with a cute little spoon to match–both are made from the natural Argentinian clay.

mohop shoes

These Mohop shoes by Annie in Chicago feature unique screenprinting on each Finnish birch sole. Each shoe comes with straps, but also features a “strapping system” that allows it to easily accept other straps from the Mohop store. In other words, you can wear a different shoe to work every day without breaking the bank!

raewadolly amigurumi

Get double the trouble with these amigurumi toys by Raewadolly! Made in Thailand, each fruit opens up to reveal a cute little amigurumi doll inside. I particularly love that each doll comes with a convenient strap for hanging and carrying–a nice touch!

connie tögel’s sheep art

Simply put, Connie Tögel paints sheep–but there is soooo much more to her and her life. Drawing her inspiration from her 5.4 acre farm in South Carolina, Tögel has been a full time artist since 2004 and creates absolutely darling oil-on-canvas artwork.

seriously cute crochet stuff

Ana Paula Rimoli describes her work as “seriously cute crochet stuff”, and I couldn’t agree more–these mother and child patterns are definitely “Awwwwww”-worthy. The amigurumi-style dolls include dogs, owls, penguins, and koalas–it’s really hard to find anything I wouldn’t love to have in my own stuffy collection!

I can’t get enough of the absolutely adorable Po by TADworks. These wee creatures stand less than an inch tall and are made from polymer clay.

shy siren’s super sweet bracelets

These “super sweet” bracelets by ShySiren have a delicate, yet delectable beauty. Each bracelet is made from twists of gold-tone wire, tiny Japanese seed beads and Czech fire-polished faceted beads formed into flower petals, and is made to order.
