curster vinyl dolls by erin currie

Somewhat creepy and a little plumper than what you might see from a Tim Burton movie, I love the way these handmade Curster dolls by Erin Currie mix somber faces with quality vinyl workmanship. The colors and patterns on the vinyl are a nice contrast to the often subtle hand-painted faces, which convey a surprising amount of emotion.

If the faces aren’t your thing, Erin also offers “droolers” and “bullets” that feature similar squat bodies. These are definitely more cartoon-like yet aren’t exactly kid’s toys either; there’s definitely a detectable anime influence which I absolutely love. Check out Erin’s Etsy shop here!
