I’m a big fan of mixed media artwork so I was delighted to come across Crostini Designs recently. A multitalented artist who has worked with acrylics, digital photography and fibers, she recently opened an Etsy shop that sells earrings. These aren’t your run of the mill dangling trinkets, however; each one features vignettes from her original mixed media artwork; you’ll be in effect wearing a piece of art!

The subtitle for her shop is “Original Designs, Vintage Inspiration”. This is totally true as her pieces have a nostalgic flair to them; I also find them charming as her earrings are composed of multiple circular discs. The “original” part is absolutely true and not a marketing gimmick: no two sets are exactly alike, ensuring that any Crostini Designs piece you wear will be unique.
