corid

A cute blend of collage and hand-drawn styles, Corid’s artwork is the kind that is sure to evince smiles from passers-by! Starting with simple ink on vintage paper, Corid uses acrylics, watercolors, pencil and a white sharpie; some of the originals feature silkscreening as well as mounting on maple plywood boards.

Corid’s work is definitely whimsical–her pictures inevitably mix in the natural–birds, bugs, and trees–with the fantastical–girls sporting antlers, couples sporting antenna and the occasional fairy wings. It’s all good fun, and I hope you enjoy Corid’s art too!
