connie tögel’s sheep art

Simply put, Connie Tögel paints sheep–but there is soooo much more to her and her life. Drawing her inspiration from her 5.4 acre farm in South Carolina, Tögel has been a full time artist since 2004 and creates absolutely darling oil-on-canvas artwork.

Her inspiration is a little flock of five sheep, which you can see on her webcam at SeeSheep.com. In addition to the sheep, Connie’s brood includes three kids, a sheep dog that is scared of sheep, two cats, a hamster, one mouse and one “computer geek/lord of marketing”. A self-described “slightly hysterical mom/artist”, she is as funny and witty as she is artistic.

With her use of beautiful colors and flat-out charming compositions, Connie’s work has found its way into the collection of Quincy Jones as well as that of a US President. Although her original work is definitely priced for collectors, Giclee reproductions are available at extremely affordable prices. For more information, visit Connie’s store at Charisma-Art.com.
