bubi au yeung

A freelance illustrator and designer, Bubi Au Yeung’s artistic career began with doodles in telephone books and textbooks. She’s since moved onto more legitimate mediums; her most famous character is Treeson, a creature who so loves the forest that he has a branch sticking out of his heart! Treeson recently became available in Bubi’s hometown of Hong Kong, with a worldwide release scheduled for September.

Much of Bubi’s art isn’t for sale but I thoroughly enjoyed paging through her gallery nevertheless. Above are several of her illustrations, all of which bear a style that is both innocence and unmistakably Asian. You can definitely tell that she enjoys her work, and judging from their cuteness it’s not difficult to see why. To see more of Bubi’s work, please visit her website, MilkJar.
