I think the best way to describe Flying Duck’s myriad bags is “afro-chic”; their vibrant colors and frenetic patterns are all African inspired. They say quite clearly that their work is “not for the faint of heart”, but they may be a bit too hard on themselves; their bags are available in such varieties that there’s something for everyone.

There are beautifully made bags; interior lamination increases durability and ease of cleaning, with extra touches such as magnetic clasps and inside zip pockets. I was most surprised to learn that these patterns are entirely made by Flying Duck’s talented designers; they also create cushions and gorgeous canvas wall art!
