I can’t help but smile every time I see Abbott and Ellwood’s delightful figurative brooches and sculptures. Made by Mike and Kim who live along the coast of Cornwall County in England, there’s a wonderful levity to each one. This is due in part to the whimsical colors and patterns; however, these just don’t look cute, but they also tickle the heart with their offbeat poses!

Many of their pieces are also unique in that they tell a story, yet are just ambiguous and quirky enough that you can let your imagination fill in the details. Made from hand-printed found metal, their Abbott and Ellwood’s artwork is kiln fired for durability and are completely one of a kind. I really encourage you to visit their store here, but a brief warning: their enthusiasm for their craft is infectious!
